Groundbreaking climate risk research
As an Earth and Climate scientist, I have dedicated my life to exploring and researching the changing world we live in. I have received numerous awards and grants for my work, focused on predicting the worst impacts of climate change so we can prevent them from happening.
To predict the worst impacts of climate change, before they happen
NASA Arctic Methane Project
We still have only a very limited understanding of how fast the Poles are changing. We answer questions about Arctic physical changes to understand the global implications, and to develop tools for improved data collection.
Emergent chemical pollution
As the climate continues to change, chemicals stored in glaciers, permafrost, and sea ice will increasingly contribute to global pollution. My research identifies the greatest emergent risks from these chemicals.
